We already knew that Croteam was working on a sequel to its 2014 puzzle game The Talos Principle and that it would arrive on PS5, in addition to PC and Xbox Series X/S. They’ve been tight-lipped about it since announcing it back in 2021, but now we finally have some details. Well, hold on to your seats because today we found out that the game is set to be released later this year.ĭuring the PlayStation Showcase, they dropped the bombshell: The Talos Principle 2 is coming! According to the game’s Steam page, this puzzle game is going to take the mind-bending challenges and thought-provoking themes of the first game to a whole new level. And get this, it’s not only coming to Xbox Series X | S, PS5 and PC via Steam. Don't expect any Talos 2 news any time soon tho. We plan on focusing on Talos 2 after releasing Sam 4, but work on it might start even before that, naturally. What makes The Talos Principle valuable is the comprehensive skill with which these pieces are assembled. Devolver Digital and Croteam has been working on a sequel to their awesome puzzle game, The Talos Principle, since 2014. The project is in a planning phase and has been entierly on hold due to VR projects and Sam 4.
